Every batch is independently scored on glide, absorption speed, cushion, and afterfeel. It must match the Dry Oil Finish archetype on all four before release.
Oxidation is measured, not guessed
Gentle Pure Veil™ is built on oxidation-sensitive, linoleic-rich oils. Every production batch is checked against written specifications, including acid and peroxide values that track oil degradation and oxidation. The formula is separately monitored through accelerated and long-term stability programs.
The protocol sets the pace
Production stays within our own manufacturing operation in controlled small runs. Every batch completes the same evaluation and release process before it ships, even when that means the product is temporarily out of stock.

A gold ingredient name means we have published a full evidence guide on it. The studies and sources live there, attributed to the people who ran them.
Willow bark is a source of salicin, not salicylic acid, and we do not present it as a BHA substitute. Salicin is a precursor, and the conversion on skin is limited and debated.
We use the whole extract for the clarity-focused profile its salicin, polyphenols and flavonoids provide together, with soothing and antioxidant activity that does not depend on that conversion at all. Read why willow bark is not natural salicylic acid.

IBR-SolAge™ (Pink Microalga)
Dunaliella salina extract, Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant. A microscopic alga from hypersaline lagoons that survives by manufacturing its own carotenoids. The form we use is rich in the two colorless carotenoids, phytoene and phytofluene, which carry carotenoid activity without the orange tint that can complicate the use of many carotenoids in leave-on formulas. In an oil serum for oily skin, staying clear matters.
IBR-SolAge™, a 1% Dunaliella salina active, addresses glycation. It is here because oily skin ages too, and oil balance does not have to be the formula’s only job.
We use it at 1%, the same level evaluated in the supplier’s clinical work. The supplier studied the ingredient across glycation, firmness, and skin evenness. The study results belong to the ingredient, not the finished serum. The full data is published on our evidence page.
Not L-ascorbic acid. THD-C is a stabilized, oil-soluble vitamin C derivative chosen specifically for an anhydrous serum. It does not require the low-pH water phase conventional vitamin C formulas depend on, which is what lets it sit at a meaningful level in a dry-oil base while supporting a brighter-looking appearance.

An ingredient list is not a claims list. Tamanu is present in Banayad, but we do not present it as a hero active. It earns its place functionally. We reserve ingredient claims for those we can support with evidence we can show you. Banayad is a cosmetic serum for oily and blemish-prone skin, not a treatment for a medical skin condition, and tea tree is not a recognised over-the-counter active for one. If congestion is persistent or painful, see a dermatologist.

Its dry-touch finish is engineered with a volatile ester system from P2 Science alongside isoamyl laurate, tuned so absorption is fast, breathable, and non-greasy. Built for people who prefer oils that disappear rather than sit on the surface.
Dry Oil Finish is one of seven texture archetypes YANNARA formulates against. It is a specification, not an adjective. Every batch is scored against it before release, and if it drifts it does not ship. This one was calibrated for warm, humid weather, which is where we live.

How to use
Before first use — Patch test
Apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If irritation occurs, rinse and discontinue use. We recommend patch testing before introducing any new facial oil serum into your routine.
